Sunday, August 30, 2009 • sweet and sudden escape

no classes in qc so we decided to take a trip to lb. i wasn't really sure if ill pursue this trip since i have midterms on PA the next day. buut I did anyway!


off to los baños! Everyones excited, some came from lb while some haven't seen the campus

short stop in Calamba

for a hearty and sumptious breakfast!

YAAAY YAAAAY time to go to LB!!!

they decided to chill at SU first, were supposed to play bowling, but they didnt allow us because were not on appropriate footwear, so we rented this billiard table instead.

it was friggin' hot in lb, that kind that penetrates your skin plus we didnt have anywhere to go to.

so we decided to leave the campus for a while and go somewhere else

los baños means "the baths" afterall. we went to this nearby falls and spent our aftenoon swimming, drinking, chatting, laughing. whilst me studied for my midterms, boo!

we had our dinner at the famous ellen's where all the big mosquitos are partying bitting diners. Then we hit Kambingan, everyone agreed that this is the cheapest inuman place weve been to. lots of joking and teasing happened.

we then decided to move to square since were all in the 'singing mood' and to drink some moooore

my time to shine, I sang my favorite karaoke song; Top of the World. good thing my friends are at the frontrow table, in case anyone throw tomatoes on me. ha ha

the place closed at around 1 am, we have nowhere to go to so we were like street kids roaming around. we sat almost everywhere, you name it we rested our butts on it! then we decided to have an early breakfast/late midnight snack at 2am. went to my cousin's former boarding house, climbed the friggin gate and took a shower.

and the long day ended. about 4am, while waiting for our bus to Manila

Wednesday, August 12, 2009 • how we handle heavy schoolworkssss

after a really stressful day...

1. go to the nearest hangout place - eat, drink (juice in my case), talk nonstop and laugh

2. then you guys realized you really need to get away from school and all those shit, so you go and seek for more.

3. enjoy great company of great friends


4. play the infamous yosi game.

5. let the exitement of possibly drinking this pulpy beer forget all your worries.




Two weeks 'till the end of August,... two weeks 'till hell is over.
